2015 GMC Canyon

All features and accessories on the new vehicle are outstanding. Recommend seat belts are sometimes hard to put on because of the wedge between seat and door frames. Also recommend a larger lockable storage box in the vehicle. Previous vehicle had a lockable box.

I liked the looks of the new Canyon when I saw pictures of it at the Chicago Car Show in January 2014. The reviews I read during the 2014 year while it was in production were positive and I ordered one when it became available to buy. I never test drove one. I'm extremely satisfied with the choice I made.

I really do like this vehicle (2015 CANYON) mainly for the features it has as my 2012 CanyonIt is loaded with information that is presented to the driver in a very nice way. I was a B-52 pilot in the USAF for many years and I like the information instruments. I also feel better having 4 wheel drive in this new pick-up.

The transmission takes way too long to downshift when passing, it seems to shift into each on its way down to the final gear when it completes a downshift of more than one gear at once. The delay is noticeable and dangerous as you are expecting power and have to wait for its delivery.

Heater core had to be replaced the first month. Glove compartment does not fit properly. The Canyon is a piece of crap! The heater core failed the first week and I have been driving a cheap rental after paying $40K for a new truck. I should have bought a Ford!!!

Rear seat legroom in this vehicle is severely lacking and even smaller than the 2007 Colorado I had previously! If I'd known how little room there was in this vehicle I'd have kept the Colorado! I'd also not have ordered this Canyon if I'd seen beforehand how much bigger it is than my 2007 Colorado. The headlights in the dim position are severely lacking.

So far my Canyon is everything I was looking for. I made an excellent choice.

The voice activation system is very poor GM should utilize some of the companies that already have this perfected. I have found it almost useless. The navigation system is the same way does not work well with voice and the database is very poor several addresses that I have put in it cannot find. Interface is clumsy I use my phone more often. It was a waste of money. Toyota solves this problem by tieing in with yelp on the phone to find places.

My Canyon is great so far. The only thing it is missing is a garage door opener.

Great vehicle! Would recommend it to anyone looking for ANY size truck!
