About the 2015 Ford Fiesta

6th-generation global Fiesta; second U.S. model year after the 2014 mid-cycle refresh

Ford positioned the Fiesta as a small, efficient car that was more engaging and better equipped than a basic commuter. Its core strengths were responsive handling, a choice of sedan or hatchback practicality, voice-controlled phone and audio functions, and comfort features not commonly found in subcompact cars. The ST extended that identity into a dedicated performance hatchback without changing the Fiesta’s compact footprint.

The 2015 Fiesta lineup ranges from the straightforward S and better-equipped SE to the upscale Titanium and performance-focused ST. Titanium models have heated leather-trimmed seats, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and rear parking aids, while the hatchback-only ST uses a 197-hp turbocharged engine, a six-speed manual, and sport-tuned suspension.

“Some Fiesta models with automatic transmission have issues but we lucked out. Manual transmission is better though. Great speedy car though.”

“The car is a blast to drive... good power, GREAT transmission. It should have come with an auto-dimming mirror, however. The small cubby forward of the shifter is useless... at least put some non-skid in there. The sunshades are a joke... flimsy and they don't stay secured in their brackets. Poor design. Overall, I love it.”

“For new brands on fiesta after 2015 handles above each door, hooks above the rear doors for dry cleaning. Slightly wider back seat for friends that are on the heavier side.”
