I really enjoy listening to my satellite radio, plus answering my smartphone on bluetooth with the rear camera watching out for anything that I might hit.

I love everything about my 2015 Tahoe except for the tires/wheels and accelerator response. The gas pedal is stiff and not responsive. The amount of pressure needed makes the acceleration rough. It's a shame to have something that simple ruin an awesome vehicle.

The only thing that I don't like about the vehicle is the navigation system. It is a big disappointment. The cost was $495, and it doesn't work as well as my TomTom unit that I bought for $149 for my other car. Shortcomings: 1) Have to buy map updates for ~$200. 2) Have to have a subscription for real-time traffic for $50 per year. 3) ETA calculation is way off (at least 50%). My $149 TomTom includes lifetime map updates for free and real-time traffic for free, and accurate ETA estimates. The only advantage of the GM navigation system is that it's built into the dashboard. Other than that, it's a big disappointment and I feel cheated. My biggest disappointment with the new Tahoe is the built-in navigation system. I have the following complaints: - Route planning is suspect. It seems to not plan the optimal route. It is very biased to interstate highways, even though that would not be the fastest. - Estimated arrival time is way off. On a trip that we knew to be about 8 hours, it estimated over 10 hours. - I suspect the previous two issues are linked. I don't think the system has accurate information on speed limits, especially on non-interstates. So, I believe that route planning and estimated arrival times are inaccurate. - Map updates need to be purchased for about $200. In my opinion, map updates should be no charge. - Traffic information requires an XM satellite subscription for about $7 per month. Again, these should be no charge. As a comparison, I bought an add-on TomTom navigation device for my other car for about $175 with lifetime map updates and lifetime traffic. It has none of the other problems mentioned above, plus the user interface and information shown on the display is vastly superior. As a result, I feel cheated paying $495 for the built-in navigation system on our new Chevy Tahoe, given all of its shortcomings. My plan is to let the subscription expire and purchase an add-on navigation device (TomTom or Garmin) and use it instead, even though I''ll have to attach it to the windshield.

1. Fixed position cross bars for the roof rack make NO sense. This is the WORST idea EVER. It just seems like the designers got lazy when there was already a tried and true design for the racks on the older models. 2. Compared to previous Tahoes, the 2015 has significantly larger blind spots and smaller side mirrors. This makes life a lot more difficult when backing/maneuvering a boat/trailer. I cannot understand why the designers chose to reduce the size of and/or obscure the rear and side rear windows.

I perfered the interior materials in my 2006 Silverado compared to the Tahoe interior. It looked better was softer feeling and easier to clean.

The windshield wipers supplied with a $60,000 vehicle are cheap and worthless. It's almost embarrassing! The same goes for the windshield washer system. It freezes up. The floor mats are way too small. The options for rear seats combined with color and rim size are way too few. I wanted rear bench seat with larger wheels and a blue color and it wasn't available. The fold-down third row makes the back storage area too high. I am short and can't reach things that are sitting high and to the front of the storage area. The front air foil under the front bumper is way too low. It won't last a year where I go. For a 2015 model year, the gas mileage is actually worse than my 2005 Tahoe. The other thing that is worse is the pickup. I almost have to put the gas pedal to the floor to get it to go and then it wants to shift two or three times before it gets going. Fairly disappointing for the money. The area between the seats in front of the cup holder where everybody puts their phones and junk needs to be bigger. Also, you can't put plugs in this area, they block off the little bit of room for my junk. The sound system and use of the phone is very good. It is the quietest ride I have ever had in an SUV. The front seat wrap is nice and they handle well with lots of room.

Really like the Tahoe, except the lip over the back window. It collects too much dirt and hassle to clean.
