2015 Chevrolet Equinox

My wife is disabled and was having a lot of trouble driving the Colorado pickup, so we decided to look for a different car. I had heard good things about the Equinox and my research showed it was a very good car for the money. When we test drove it we both fell in love with it. My wife has very little trouble driving it as entry/exit is easy and comfortable and the infinitely adjustable driver's seat makes it easy for her to get a comfortable position. We recently took a trip of about 450 miles and the seats and ride were very comfortable. My mother-in-law who lives with us has an easier time with entry/exit and was very comfortable on the trip. We are impressed with the quality and fit and the power from the four-cylinder engine, and the fuel economy is impressive too. All in all we are very satisfied with our Equinox. We love it!

The door is a little heavy and tends to close easily when not propped all the way. Also, the interior frame makes it difficult to see in the front.

I was involved in a bad accident 9/14 in 2012 equinox-was hit by a person running a stop sign & we rolled 3 times-considering the seriousness of the accident came through with our lives-because of the safety features & angels-that is the main reason I purchased another Equinox. Could use more room in the rear back for it is tight packing for a beach vacation even with seats folded down. Involved in a bad car accident in 2012 equinox in which it was totaled-it rolled 3 times-car ran a stop sign on us-we came through with bruises & soreness but lived! That is why I chose another Equinox - I feel safe as you can be in this car. I have been told that airbags & seat belts & other safety features on this car save our lives (doctors & family & friends).

Very large blind spots. Blind spot indicators/mirrors should be standard equipment.

Would be better to have AC vents for the back seats

The vehicle should have a back seat air conditioning and heating vent. The back seat is not comfortable in extreme cold or heat.

I would like to enlarge the display such as time and temperature. Also, but not as critical, the hands-free calling display could be a little larger.

Would like Chevrolet to redesign side pockets in doors. Useless as is for placing items in as designed.
