2015 BMW 4 Series

I am extremely happy with my purchase experience and my new vehicle.

Through the first 3000 miles have averaged nearly 33mpg combined driving compared to the 27 estimate so I am quite happy, however have not been able to get the higher highway estimate, not complaining just a note. Every day it seems I find a new feature or function and I do not even have all the technology stuff.

Great car. Love convertible with hard top!

Cupholder placement terrible. Foot-activated trunk release very poor - works "only once in a great while". Poorly designed cupholders.

Female end of safety belts too low; hard to reach. Navigation map dims excessively under overcast skies or shade of trees; very hard to see.

BMW in future cars need to drop comfort and luxury a few levels in the design priority. The most important aspect of a BMW should always be performance. The ride should be sportier and the engine noise should be louder. The exterior styling is excellent along with the interior. If BMW could adjust future models of both the 4 and 3 series to be lighter, stiffer and louder I could see myself buying a new car from them again.

Fuel filler door won't close sometimes.

The 1 problem fix was the seatbelt. you did not question seat belts. They are delicate in this vehicle and subject to twist and tangles if not handled with care. Can't just let it go... will twist and tangle inside the roll-up panel. I purchased the back up camera and overhead camera. The warning signals stay on too long. the overhead camera has a grey warning label that comes on the top of the screen. It stays on for 7 seconds. it should only flash for 1 or 2 seconds then go off so I can use the feature immediately when parking. The car is low to the ground. have to be careful to keep the tires off the curb and the front from scraping over the curbs. This camera is utilized for that purpose. When out and about and pulling into a parking stall you turn on the camera so you can see the nose of the car in relation to the curb in a parking stall. When you turn on the camera you have to wait 7 seconds for the warning label to disappear. Does not seem like much but when you are out and parking, I just don't want to see the warning label AGAIN... I want to park the car and have immediate access to the camera display. Too bad we have to all live with the warnings for product liability with the lawyers etc...

Pickup on the 428i is sluggish and handling not as good as in the 328i.

I find the quality of the interior knobs and controls to be of lower quality than expected and compared to Mercedes or Porsche.
