“After a few months of ownership I'm having 2nd thoughts about this as the right vehicle for me. I skimped on options to save money, and I'm sorry I did that. I miss the sport seats and the 4-cylinder, while powerful, just sounds tinny and has excessive vibration. It seems the car is just not refined enough for as much money as it cost.”
“Having owned BMW's since 1974, all have had instrumentation commensurate with the performance provided. Why then, did BMW see fit to delete all auxiliary gauges in the M235i. A car with the performance level offered should have at least a coolant temp and oil temp gauge. Quite a step down from the 2002 M Roadster (S54 engine) I previously owned. Don't get me started on the lack of an oil dipstick...”
