“There is one major drawback about the interior. The cup holders are terrible! The base is too small for many "to go" drinks and the prongs inside the cup holders are so tight, I worry that they will put holes in the side of styrofoam or paper cups. I also would prefer an easily accessible USB port. I have 2 kids who are constantly charging something so having to use the base of the armrest is not convenient.”
2015 Audi A7: What's New, Specs & Features
Last updated August 13, 2026

The 2015 Audi A7 is a light equipment-update year, not a redesign. The main change is more standard equipment: Premium Plus gains added safety and climate features, while Prestige gains LED headlights and a head-up display.
About the 2015 Audi A7
1st generation A7 (C7, 2012-2018 in the U.S.), last pre-facelift year before the 2016 refresh.
Audi positioned the A7 as a design-led five-door luxury car that mixed the look of a coupe with the usefulness of a hatchback and the comfort of an executive sedan. The appeal was not just style: Audi also leaned on a high-quality cabin, strong V6 performance, standard all-wheel drive, and more cargo flexibility than a conventional sedan. Compared with rivals, the A7’s standout traits were its dramatic shape, upscale interior technology, and everyday practicality.
The Premium Plus is the well-rounded core model, with either a 310-hp supercharged gas V6 or a 240-hp diesel V6, plus AWD, navigation, heated front seats, and a power tailgate. Prestige models add a richer cabin and stronger feature set, including ventilated leather seats, Bose audio, full LED headlights, and a head-up display.

2015 Audi A7 Reviews
What owners are saying about the 2015 Audi A7.
“I do not care for the location of the onboard controls near the gear shifter. Ergonomically I like the similar controls in the A8 better. It is hard to change modes while driving as it requires you to take your eyes off of the road for a moment.”
“Generally smooth and favorable purchase experience with a few bumps in the road. A beautiful, great driving car. Dashboard controls could be better arrayed and illustrated. Voice recognition system a bit erratic. Otherwise very comfortable and driver-friendly steering/handling/cornering/acceleration.”
