2014 smart fortwo

The Smart Fortwo electric drive is a great car, perfect for local driving. What is frustrating about it is that it only goes maybe 40 miles during the winter months before you have to plug it in. The car is great, runs very well, though I hope they come out with an affordable electric car that can go over 200 miles in the winter.

My only problem/complaint is the floor mats. They are cheap. They do not fit properly. The plastic screws that were provided are ineffective and therefore the ability to stay attached securely is a bit of a problem. I LOVE this car ! Everyone is surprised about how much room it really has inside. It looks small but has lots of headroom (we are both over 6feet tall) plus lots of room for groceries, even when we shop at Costco!!!

This vehicle is so much fun to drive. If the battery technology is better in three years I will consider buying another one.

The Smartcar is great for what I need right now. Once my family starts to grow, it won't be as economical as a primary vehicle.

Range is not as good as expected, but for commuting purposes, the car fits my needs. Would like to be able to take it for a weekend drive for roundtrip of 100+ miles, hopefully the battery technology will improve to get even smaller electric cars a larger driving range.

We wanted an electric car for errands and short trips in a small city environment. The Smart for Two Electric Drive is doing a great job for us.
