Powertrain

Four-cylinder gas models replaced the previous 2.4-liter engine with a new 2.5-liter four-cylinder and moved to new six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Output is 169 horsepower in the base, LE, and XLE, and 179 horsepower in the SE. The Hybrid powertrain carried over.

Styling

Gas models received a new grille, front bumper, headlights, and taillights. The Hybrid got its own revised front-end treatment and new cloth seat fabric, while the SE added revised sport details and new 17-inch wheels.

Safety

Stability control with traction control became standard on gas models. The Hybrid retained its existing stability-management system.

Tech

All four power windows gained one-touch up/down operation and jam protection. The Hybrid received a new gauge cluster, and some lower-trim cars were built with a newly offered USB/Bluetooth audio system.
