Scion Overview

In 2003, Japanese automaker Toyota launched a new brand in the U.S. to attract younger buyers. Scion, as it was called, sold sporty, stylish, and affordable cars for over a dozen years until the marque was dissolved by its parent company in 2016. After that, a few of Scion’s models, including the FR-S sports car and the iM compact hatchback, carried on under the Toyota badge (then renamed the 86 and the Corolla iM, respectively). However, most others, including popular sellers such as the boxy xB wagon and tC sports coupe, were discontinued.
