My only drawback is the outside design of the 550... this vehicle should have a design and body style all of its own... it resembles all of the other Mercedes which takes away from the prestige of it... I had a Porsche Panamera before the outside style was gorgeous and one of a kind---I had thumbs up everywhere and all people looked at it... not even a glimpse with the 550... the body style needs to be looked at and changed completely... and made totally different.

Biggest disappointment is CITY MPG. City = local roads, no freeway. Advertised as 17 MPG. My average is 11.7 ( Premium gas) on this S550 as well as my previous 2013 S550. I believe that this MPG misrepresentation requires investigation on the part of Mercedes as well as reporting by me to the necessary authorities.

Mercedes S class - definitely outdoes its normal competition. Ride, handling, power are at the top. Interior and features compare with Rolls & Bentley

Great car I get compliments almost every time I drive it. I thought my LS460 was the best car on the road until I drove the S550 NO Comparison

If there was the ability to supply a/c to the trunk when needed, that would be a nice added feature. There are times that we wish our groceries could be kept cool on our trip home.

This 2015 M/B S-600 is not as good as our 2011 M/B S-600. The seats are not as comfortable and the ride is more noisy. The car is difficult to keep at a constant speed on the highway, unless you use the speed control. Less trunk room. Seat adjustments are poor on height. I am somewhat disappointed in my new S-600. The quality of the car is not the same as my 2011 S-600. The seating is poor, and the ride is harsh over the same rough sections of a road! I know the differences between the two cars because I still own the 2011. At this point, I would rather drive the 2011.

Drives like a dream. 18" wheels are better for softer quieter driving. This is a real luxury car. It's not sporty but has good acceleration and maneuverability. The LCD screens are large, easy to see and in color. While it's loaded with features, navigation of the controls are relatively easy, very user friendly. Safety features are awesome. Haven't really checked MPG but on short hauls it's coming up at 24 mpg but in the city half that. Trunk space is great and can be opened using your foot activating a sensor under the rear bumper. Handy. Ambient lighting around the dash, doors and center console. Even under the front seats. The color is selectable, purple, red, blue, yellow. It is way cool. Love this car.

Fix gap between seat, as items fall there and impossible to retrieve

I love my S550. The only complaint I have is that the gas tank is not large enough. We live several miles out in the country from the closest town, so when I go anywhere, I have to drive approx. 20 miles just to get there. I can go only about 4-5 days before having to stop for gas.
