Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The E350 is a magnificent vehicle. It is just the right size with a subtle beauty

Would like for side view mirrors to retract /close when parked.

For $60,000+ I expected keyless features, entry, starting, etc. I expected retractable mirrors. Rear backing only has a camera not beeping sounds. Nobody has been able to tell me how to turn the radio off without turning all the other features off. I hate not having a reference book. It is a real pain to have to keep going back and forth with the computer book.

Overall, I really enjoy the vehicle, however there are 3 things that are absolute design failures that should be corrected: 1. The inability to enter an address in the Navigation system while the car is in drive. This is very annoying. The voice control system simply does not work. For me the Navigation is rendered completely useless. This would potentially force me into another brand. 2. I don't like the "Eco" function at all. Having the car constantly shut off does not work well with my daily driving. I should be able to shut this off as a default function. I don't like having to manually do it every time I start the car. 3. When you first turn on the car, the navigation/entertainment screen does not turn on for several seconds, during this time certain functions are inoperable. In particular, I can't mute or change the volume.

I have driven Mercedes models (C250 and C-300) for the last ten years. This is my first E-350 which I love. There is a dramatic difference between these models! This is supposed to be my terminal car...

The vehicle has a couple of quirks like the rear windows don't have one touch-up. The voice recognition in navigation rarely finds addresses. The data in navigation must be old because it can't find addresses.

Love the car, buying it was a good time.

I have a hard time keeping the interior and exterior looking clean. This is obviously my fault for my finish selections, but the taupe interior and blue exterior color shows every bit of dirt and watermarks

I have never considered any other make of vehicles other than Mercedes due to its reliability and prestige. It is a brand I can trust. Mercedes Benz has been an iconic vehicle for safety and reliability. I love the quietness in the vehicle when driving as I need to talk on the phone hands-free while driving. No other cars provide such quietness as far as I know.
