Lincoln Corsair
With the Corsair, which first appeared in 2020, Lincoln brings its signature style and comfort to a small crossover SUV. It stands out in a competitive segment for its plush ride, upscale cabin, and long list of standard features. On the downside, European rivals tend to outclass the Lincoln when it comes to driving excitement, especially when it's equipped with the lackluster base engine, which is borrowed from the Ford Escape. Nevertheless, the Corsair remains not just a desirable but also a relatively affordable entry point into the American luxury SUV experience.

Lincoln Corsair Model Lineup
The Corsair is a compact crossover SUV from Ford’s luxury division. The five-seater is the smallest sport-ute in Lincoln’s lineup, measuring about nine inches shorter than the midsize Nautilus. The Corsair shares a platform and some components with the Ford Escape, built by Lincoln’s parent company. It replaced the Lincoln MKC, which was discontinued after the 2019 model year.
Lincoln offers the Corsair in three trim levels: the base Standard, the mid-tier Reserve, and the top-of-the-line Grand Touring. As you would expect from a high-end automaker, all versions come standard with lots of desirable features, including heated and powered front seats, a power liftgate, remote start, and an infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Also standard is a basic suite of active safety tech, which includes forward collision mitigation, blind-spot warning, and lane-keeping assist. Adaptive cruise control is available as an option, as are many other luxe features, such as ventilated seats, a head-up display, and a surround-view camera.
Under the hood, the Corsair offers one of three different powerplants. Most employ a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 250 horsepower. It’s backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission, which routes power to the front wheels unless equipped with optional all-wheel drive. A slightly larger 2.3-liter turbo four is an available upgrade for both the Standard and Reserve trims, offering 295 hp and standard all-wheel drive. Meanwhile, the top-level Grand Touring features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain with 266 hp and up to 28 miles of all-electric range.

I love the Corsair but feel that the storage by the armrest could be a lot larger. Also a place to put the cell phone where it doesn't slide around would be nice! I love the lighting and especially the Lincoln approach. I also love the moon roof and the techie features like the rimless rear view mirror, the changing light color inside, remote start and so much more. I also love the peanut butter seats, and the ride is super smooth!

I hope whoever is interested in Lincoln Corsair looks at the quality and performance. It's quiet, fuel efficient, and has great safety features. It's also reliable, comfortable, and enjoyable.
