A 2018 Range Rover Sport is a muscular SUV designed for extensive luxury, supreme comfort, and exceptional functionality. The state-of-the-art SUV has a fine infusion of technology and is fine-tuned for great performance in on-road and off-road conditions. Since 2006, the Range Rover Sport has undergone a tremendous transformation to become one of the finest luxury SUVs, with a versatile touch and feel.

Power and Performance

The Range Rover Sport is designed to deliver exceptional driving pleasure and a great balance of fuel economy and performance through the 6-cylinder, 5-liter, V-8 supercharged petrol engine with a diesel option. The V-6 powertrain can deliver a sprint of 0 to 60 mph in an impressive seven seconds. The V8 supercharged model can do 0 to 60 mph in only five seconds since it packs more power. To control a vehicle that produces such impressive power, the Range Rover Sport is equipped with a dynamic response system, which enables hydraulic control on the suspension and great steering precision.

Dynamic Design

The Range Rover Sport packs a punch when it comes to the interior and exterior design. The muscular, well-proportioned design is made to command the attention of everyone around. On the interior, the redefined design delivers a signature cockpit, which comes in a range of color options. The intuitive design has a leather finish on strategic parts of the dashboard, door panels and seats. The cockpit has a great amount of readily accessible control buttons.

Technology

We can't talk about the 2018 Range Rover Sport without having to bring onboard the impressive futuristic technology. The vehicle has a wide range of tech infusions, including driver aids for both on- and off-road conditions. For example, the gesture-operated sunroof allows you great convenience without having to manually operate it. At the heart of all tech advances in the Range Rover Sport is the Touch Pro Duo system, powered by the 10-inch high-definition touchscreen. It allows you to view all onboard tech functionalities, including navigation and adjusting media settings.

Fuel Range

The 2018 Range Rover Sport is not so fuel-efficient, especially given the fact that it is a regularly used vehicle for both road and off-road conditions. With the car using premium gasoline as the primary fuel for the V6 engine, the 17 mpg in city environments and 23 mpg on the highway make it unimpressive in fuel consumption.

Premium Price

The Range Rover Sport is a premium SUV that attracts a premium price. A second-hand unit is definitely cheaper as compared to a new one. The premium purchase price is also replicated across other areas, such as servicing and maintenance costs.

Long-Term Reliability

For a vehicle as expensive as the Range Rover Sport, reliability and sustainability should be significant considerations. The Range Rover SUV has been on the market for quite some time now, but it's still a bit difficult to predict how sustainable it will be. It is hard to imagine the future for this SUV.

I love my Range Rover Sport, without a doubt, but some minor things could improve: Navigation is not worth using, slow, easier to use phone. Does not have enough buttons to save radio channels (only allows up to 6 on one screen). Would like more detail available on screen for song being played (for ex: I think it lists singer but not song name until you click on the information icon). Don't particularly like that I have to click a button to get me to screen and then have to hit another button to put on my seat heater/cooler vs having a quick button option, then the "X" (exit button to close the screen) is on passenger side so driver has to reach to click the screen off (not practical). No space for up front to put keys, sunglasses, etc. other than cup holder.

Best thing ever bought. When I parked my Land Rover outside the main trailer everyone noticed. Better image than driving up in either of my work trucks.

Land Rover should offer and software update for the infotainment system. Extremely outdated and slow when compared with similar vehicles on the road today.

Windshield Wipers are embarrassing. Have to replace after months. Climate Control - feet are freezing when outside is 11F!!!! Navigation - Clunky. Could be improved and should be improved.
