Land Rover LR4

In 2010, the LR4 succeeded the outgoing LR3, giving Land Rover's premium midsize SUV an updated look, more power under the hood, and a more luxurious cabin. Despite its suave appearance, the LR4 stays true to the brand's heritage with its rugged construction and sophisticated four-wheel drive system, making it one of the most capable off-road vehicles in its segment. Inside, the Land Rover offers an upscale cabin with seating for up to seven passengers, high-quality materials, and plenty of posh features, such as heated and cooled front seats and a panoramic sunroof. However, the LR4 isn't without some drawbacks. Its fuel economy falls short of class leaders, and its trail-ready suspension can feel unrefined during everyday street driving. Additionally, some find its infotainment system occasionally laggy and frustrating to use. Buyers should also note that Land Rover replaced the LR4 with the all-new Discovery in 2017.
