Ford C-MAX Energi

The MyFord system is not as intuitive as I would like and the voice recognition is awful. You are thoroughly lost by the time it gets the address right & had a hard time differentiating between ''x'' and ''ck'' to the point to have rouses nearby street. ie I go to Tuxford & Roxbury all the time & programmed them in - and it still can't get me there. My phone can!

The C-Max Energi gives me the best of both worlds. I don't put many miles on a car. The 8-year-old Kia Optima has only 41000 miles on it. Most driving is within city limits for short trips. I can drive electric most of the time unless I get on a freeway or go up a lot of hills. I do like to take some trips up to the mountains and an all-electric just does not have the range to go up and back. When friends or family come within driving range, I like to go see them even if it is 2-3 hours away. I have put 835 miles on the car. I filled the gas tank once and presently have 7/8 tank of gas left. So when people ask if I've gone "Green?" I say yes, green for me.
