I would say that it is perfect for toting camping gear, crates of crafting supplies, and passengers which is the primary reason the vehicle was purchased. I would have preferred to buy the model with the back-up camera and blind-spot notifier. Also the navigation system would have been a good investment. But my son picked this truck.

I was given the impression by Ram that my radio would be easily upgraded to satellite. It even shipped with a satellite antenna on the roof I'm told. Hours working through U-Connect indicated that the radio could not be upgraded/exchanged/or even replaced with a different radio. They suggested an aftermarket receiver. This is unacceptable, it should have been a reprogram/enable deal. They could add GPS (for twice what the biggest Garmin unit costs.\Some sound deadening under the cargo hold panels would be nice, some vinyl w/sound deadener on the rear wheel houses would make driving more enjoyable. A better integrated high-mount brake light and camera, and some hinge covers would improve the looks at the rear. The automated manual needs some software upgrades for the 1-2 shift and sticking in a lower gear than needed at certain times.

Wish the options I ask for were on the vehicle I bought!

Tilt steering wheel please! Eight cup holders? Really? Also, ergonomically clumsy (even dangerous) locations. The stock radio is too "smart" for what it provides. Cup holders need to be redesigned. Location of cruise control is not intuitive and interferes with finding the turn signal. Visibility and turning radius are excellent!

One front seat cup holder . . . in the wrong place. Now, I have to pay to have a seat cleaned. No 110 VDC outlet, There could be more . . .

Need more cupholders. The back end is NOT 48" as described. It only measures 47" I had to buy new dog crates because my 24" wide crates did not fit. Gas tank is too small. Speedometer display is too small.

One dome light has not worked and has not been repaired, parts are on order, brand new nav system has maps from 2013 and no system in place to update the maps. Trailer hitch sold but still not installed, almost 5 months of ownership.

The convex mirrors when pushed all the way out do not reach blind spots. Engineering should have caught this and corrected it. It's a HUGE safety issue and they are useless without being able to be used for their function. For a vehicle that drives like a bus, you'd think it would have some lumbar support and tilt wheel. Multi-position seat would be good too. There's very little I can do to be comfortable on long trips or after a long hard day. I need this vehicle for the cargo capacity so I'm stuck with what is available for the cab interior. I think that vans like this (with no side or back window) should automatically come with surround view since you can never see anything but what is displayed on the tiny little backup camera screen. Safety is obviously not a concern when designing these vehicles.

I purchased my vehicle believing it was 530 cut behind front seats and was told it was bigger than the Ford. I found out that was false. It is only 461 cut. No response from Chrysler. Was supposed to have full paneling, it doesn't. Plastic wire hinges on rear doors both broke first month.
