Volvo XC70

I rated the transmission low as I said in another survey, at low speed it seems like it doesn't know if it wants to shift to a lower gear or higher. This is when you approach a red light and you are slowing and the light changes to green. You step on the gas, and there is a delay and sometimes a "bump" into the gear. We drive this mostly on trips as we travel, and on the highway the transmission is excellent. I would love to see the 2ltr. Turbo on this vehicle for better fuel economy. However, I understand that they will stop making this model soon.

I've had Volvos for over 30 years and if I replace this one it will be another Volvo.

Our other vehicle, which my wife drives is a 2014 BMW 535xi. We love both cars. The quality of both cars is very high and identical to one another. The Volvo is a much better value, but does not have the prestige of the BMW. When talking about cars, I tell my friends that the Volvo is every bit as good a car as the BMW for a lot less money. The Volvo even has some features the BMW does not have and vice versa. Both cars have many extra-cost options so they can be compared. Sometimes we think using the BMW is showing off so we often take the Volvo. My wife loves the Volvo too. A great car!

Would like clearer instructions on the use of the navigation, radio (sirius), internet and similar features.

Navigation system needs improvement - much too difficult to use. Needs Pandora capability.
