Volvo XC60

Since its 2010 introduction, the XC60 has become a staple in Volvo's lineup thanks to its appealing blend of style, safety, and performance. Its sleek Scandinavian design and upscale interior are popular among buyers seeking luxury without ostentation. Known for its commitment to safety, Volvo equips the XC60 with a host of advanced safety features as standard, and under the hood, its range of powertrains, from efficient four-cylinders to a powerful plug-in hybrid, caters to a variety of driving preferences. On the road, the XC60 delivers a comfortable and refined ride, though some competitors offer more dynamic handling. Inside, passengers enjoy ample space in both rows and a cargo area that's above average for the compact SUV segment. On the downside, its infotainment system, while modern and well-equipped, can be a sore spot with some due to usability issues and occasional lag. Despite this, the Volvo XC60 remains an excellent choice for those seeking a luxury SUV that offers safety and comfort with a touch of understated elegance.

I miss the safety of auto locking doors when in drive. Because of past experience with my Volvo S80 and S60 I forget to lock my doors.

I love the vehicle. I feel great driving it! People stop and stare because it's so sharp looking!

Only complaint is that I wish it had more storage in the front row. For example, someplace to put loose change. Small shelf behind "dashboard" seems unusable.

The navigation system is not user friendly. It is difficult to figure out. I guess I will have to eventually read through the book. I usually just use the navigation system on my cell phone, as it is easier to look up addresses and the map isn't cluttered with un-needed information, such as lists of gas stations. Also, the voice recognition system has never recognized anything I have said to it; so I have given up on that.

We have not had time to set up all the features ie. navigation, Bluetooth as we have to watch the video on screen. Would be also helpful if the owner's manual explained all in detail.

Love the vehicle. Two issues exist, however. 1) The drivers side mirror goes out of adjustment about 40% of the time after turning off the vehicle; and, 2) The dash temperature (which I am told measures road surface temperature) is totally useless. This function should provide the operator with the ambient outside temperature.

The internet technology is awful. It takes far too long to load apps and cuts out randomly. Really disappointing. The memory settings for seats and mirrors does not work very well. I have to adjust the mirrors frequently even though I am the only driver. The automatic folding mirrors occasionally don't unfold when the car is started. The navigation system is about the worst I've seen. It is difficult to enter locations while driving because of the interface. It won't allow entry of some addresses (that are correct). It's pretty useless. There needs to be more small storage in drivers reach. (someplace to keep change for tolls , etc.)
