Volkswagen Jetta
The Jetta has come a long way since its early days as, essentially, a Volkswagen Golf with a trunk. Now in its seventh generation, the compact sedan still offers a nice mix of roominess, fuel efficiency, and German engineering. Owners also praise its comfortable ride and quiet five-seat cabin, which, since a 2019 redesign, offers standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and lots of optional upgrades. However, the Volkswagen Jetta does have some drawbacks, such as its somewhat conservative exterior design and rather spartan base trim level, which lacks many of the advanced tech and safety features that have become commonplace on competing models. Additionally, while the Jetta offers a relaxing driving experience, it does not deliver the outright sporty dynamics of some rivals in the segment -- or even its hatchback sibling. Buyers will have to step up to the performance-oriented Jetta GLI for that.

I love the car. It has a good sense of luxury, power, style while not being too expensive. The one problem I had with the car is that the driver's window squeaks when rolling up/down... annoying more than anything. The other issues, probably more by design than mfg defect, are related to the DSG transmission. It sometimes takes a bit of time (<1 sec) to start moving after putting the foot on the accelerator. This makes launching out into traffic a bit scary as I'm not sure if the car will go or not. The shift points also seem too low given the turbo and power band, leaving the car feeling a bit underpowered when driving around.

This a great car. Excellent suspension, highly responsive, superb acceleration, very comfortable, The interior is very user friendly. The car was made with attention give to detail.
