Toyota Corolla Hybrid Model Lineup
The Corolla Hybrid is the hybrid variant of Toyota’s compact sedan, the Corolla. The five-seater slots above the compact Prius and below the midsize Camry Hybrid in the Japanese automaker’s lineup of hybrid four-doors.
Toyota offers the Corolla Hybrid in a single trim dubbed the LE. Among its standard features are a rearview camera, an 8.0-inch center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay integration, and a suite of safety tech that includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, and lane-keeping assist. In 2021, Toyota also added Android Auto as standard equipment and blind-spot warning as an option. Heated front seats joined the list of optional features for the 2022 model year.
Propelling the Corolla Hybrid is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors. Combined, they produce a total of 121 horsepower, which is routed to the front wheels (only) via a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The Corolla Hybrid returns an EPA-estimated 52 mpg in mixed driving.
