I absolutely love my Tesla. The only regret I have is not waiting for a more affordable model - not because of price but because of features. The newest Tesla models appear to have more features that sadly my family and I are missing out on (mostly me though). So my advice would be to always wait, see what new features and refinements are coming around the corner, patience is a virtue after all.

I really love my Tesla. I don't think there is a single car that I would rather have at the moment. That being said given the shape of the car, there's no way to look over the back and see your exact distance from an object. Unlike the excellent front warning system, there is none when backing up. Although you will see an object in the large center screen from the camera, there's no way of judging just how close you are.

Originally, I was waiting for the model 3 because I thought that would be the perfect size for me. I expected people within my family to be upset that I didn't get something from Ford or Toyota. This car is unbelievable and I tell people about it all the time. It amazes me every time I sit in it. There are constant updates to make things better. It's performance is great. My husband will smile when he hops in to take it out instead of his truck.

12 months after purchasing my tesla, the auto pilot doesn't work and no timeline has been given. That was a big selling point.

Driving a computer on wheels. Great driving experience but designers forgot about the back seat and the finishing touches for the passengers and the rear of the SUV which are 1980's UGLY and not even very user friendly. I wish they had thought more about the design features of the back of the SUV and that I had waited for a later model.

We have two EV's. After driving ICE and EV vehicles, I would never buy an ICE vehicle again. The comfort and driving ease of a Tesla is far superior to any other car I have ever driven. Literally, a computer/battery/motor on wheels - no engine, transmission, catalytic converter, or drive train.
