Nissan cube

The Cube is a quirky, box-shaped compact hatchback that Nissan sold from 2009 through 2014. Though known for its oddball looks, including its unique wraparound rear window, the Cube is a surprisingly practical vehicle with a spacious, versatile interior. Owners also appreciate it for its excellent outward visibility and comfortable and composed ride. Under the hood, a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine delivers modest power and reasonable if not stellar fuel economy. On the downside, not everyone is a fan of the Cube's unconventional styling, and some find its driving dynamics less engaging than the competition. Additionally, the Cube's upright shape can cause some intrusive wind noise at higher speeds.

For me, a manual transmission is an absolute must. I prefer to "drive" my car, not just "aim" it. I'm really disappointed that you (and most other manufacturers) no longer build certain models with manual transmission. I would have preferred a Rogue or a Murano.

The engine is loud, the brake pedal thunks when I let up on it and I have a rattle in the dash that is making me crazy.

THE ONLY THING THAT I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT MY NEW CUBE IS THAT THE HORN IS NOT LOUD ENOUGH.

The Cube fits my needs and lifestyle, gets good mpg, plenty of room, able to haul things as I go to auctions a lot. It is comfortable as I am a big person and it is easy to get in and out of, when my father was ill, it was easy for him to get in and out of, we hauled our luggage, his wheel chair and air tanks in my old one. I am comfortable in it and it handles great. It is a shame that Nissan did not support or advertise the Cube more than it did. These are good cars. I could seat 5 in mine. 2 large adults and 3 teenagers, each 6ft tall.

Enjoying the car so far, but still getting used to it. Drove a minivan for 30 years, so this is quite a change! Could use more interior lighting (in glove box for instance). Only real negatives I have are the color choice for the displays---that orange is a TERRIBLE choice and very hard to read at night, and the wind noise at highway speeds is excessive. I knew this going in by reading lots of reviews, but still didn't expect it to be quite as loud as it is.

Different and a very unique SUV. I feel that it is really a car and not a truck. I feel like the large windows and mirrors in the front. You get a good view when riding in the Cube. The cube windows in the back have a stage coach look to me. It reminds me when women and men rode in the back of the stage coach in western times with a man sitting in the top front seat steering the horses and riding the passengers in the stagecoach.
