It isn't that the Kia Cadenza has awful fuel economy, but there are other large sedans that outperform the Cadenza at the pump. The EPA estimates that the Cadenza achieves 22 mpg combined (19 mpg city/28 mpg highway).

We're admittedly nitpicking to a degree here when it comes the Cadenza's ability to successfully brake. However, considering its place as a leading competitor in its class, the Cadenza was able to come to a complete stop from 60 mph in 122 feet -- an average distance for the segment.
