Hyundai Equus

In 2011, Hyundai brought its first full-size luxury sedan to the U.S. The all-new Equus was a bold attempt by the automaker to challenge more established players in the segment, such as Lexus and Mercedes-Benz. By many accounts, the Equus succeeds. With its elegant exterior design, spacious and quiet cabin, and powerful V8 engine, it delivers the premium feel of its competitors at a much more accessible price point. Notable standard features include its high-quality Lexicon audio system, adjustable air suspension, and limo-like rear seat. However, the Equus isn't without a few drawbacks. For instance, some critics note that its handling is not as refined or engaging as that of its more expensive rivals. Additionally, as an older model, the Equus does not offer much in the way of advanced safety or tech features. Buyers interested in a more updated version should look to the Genesis G90, which replaced the Equus after the 2016 model year.

The big negatives are that there is not enough inside storage. There needs to be a trash receptacle. The middle console storage is difficult to use with two doors opening at the center. The two drink holders will not hold a larger mug or cup. I think the outside temperature gauge should show the result on the navigation panel or the mirror. I would also like a collision warning or stop ability.
