Honda Fit Model Lineup

Produced from 2007 through 2020, the Fit is a subcompact hatchback with seating for up to five passengers. It’s Honda’s smallest model, slotting below sits below the compact Civic. It shares a platform and some components with the HR-V, a subcompact crossover. The Fit’s third and final generation debuted in 2015, offering a more refined and spacious interior, updated exterior styling, and improved fuel efficiency.

The Fit comes in several trims, including LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L. The LX is the base model, while the Sport adds more aggressive styling elements and slightly upgraded interior materials. The EX trim brings additional convenience features, such as a sunroof and advanced safety technologies, while the top-of-the-line EX-L offers leather upholstery and heated front seats.

In recent years, the Fit has been powered by a 1.5-liter inline-4 engine, with output ranging from 117 to 130 horsepower, depending on the model year and trim. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, while a continuously variable automatic (CVT) is available as an option. All Fits are front-wheel drive, and no electric or hybrid versions were offered.

A touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration became available on the Fit for the 2018 model year. The Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and forward collision mitigation, was also introduced that year as an option on the EX and EX-L trims.

For used car shoppers, we recommend 2018 and later models due to their updated technology and safety features. The EX trim is a good choice for those seeking a balance of value and convenience, while the EX-L provides a more premium experience.

2015 Honda Fit EX

I love my Fit. I wanted simple, and I got simple, but with excellent technological perks I thought I would have to spend more for, all included. I chose Honda because the car is the best looking in it's class, and because Hondas do not break down like others. The only real complaint I have is the quality of the interior rug. It actually traps fibers such as hair and grass and is difficult to vacuum out. Other than that one minor thing, I am wholly satisfied with my choice in purchasing a Honda Fit, and have recommended them to many people.

Would have loved to see this vehicle in more colors. I find the Bluetooth connection difficult. Pairing if my phone difficult. Would have liked to see more options available for purchase such as roof rails, signals on the mirrors, some hidden storage.

As I have said before I hate, hate, hate the touch screen controls for the sound system. Would much rather have tactile buttons that I can feel without having to look away from the road. The only thing that saves this system from being completely unusable is the volume control on the steering wheel. Also the headlights seem to be underpowered when I am in a rural area. They are fine for city driving. Armrest for the driver is miniscule. Otherwise the value for the price is good and that is why I actually bought the car. It was affordable, but still had some nice features like the backup camera, keyless start, etc.

Only thing I have found that I dislike is the volume control on the audio system... very awkward

Sold it after only 3 months. Can't deal with the rattles and the standard shifts very awkward gear ratios. I cannot travel comfortably in a car that has to keep the engine at 4,000 RPMs to get to 75-80 mph.

Needs a larger fuel tank for longer fuel range. Less than 300 miles in city. Needs better driver's side blind spot mirror. Front window frames create major blind spots when turning into streets. Seat can be very uncomfortable in the neck and the wheel feels far away.

2015 Honda Fit LX

5.0

I am quite happy with my Fit LX. The main reason I bought that trim level was because of the features it did NOT have. I did not want push-button start, keyless entry or a sunroof. Very happy I was able to get a model that didn't have that stuff. My only dislike is the quality of the seat fabric and floor covering. I would have happily upgraded to a leather interior if I could have had that without all the other bells and whistles.
