Honda Crosstour

The Honda Crosstour blends the practicality of a hatchback, the comfort of a sedan, and the stance of a crossover. The resulting design, controversial at its 2010 debut, today seems ahead of its time. Like the midsize Accord it's based on, the Crosstour comes with either a fuel-efficient four-cylinder or a more powerful V6 engine; the latter can be paired with all-wheel drive, which is unusual for Hondas of this era. Owners also praise the Crosstour for its confident handling and compliant ride as well as its spacious and comfortable interior. However, it does have some drawbacks. The Crosstour's sloping rear roofline limits rear-seat headroom and cargo space compared to more traditional crossovers; it also limits the driver's rearward view. Additionally, buyers should note that Honda discontinued the Crosstour after the 2015 model year.

2014 Honda Crosstour EX-L (6-Cyl) 4WD

Extremely comfortable ride, handling performance is excellent for a vehicle of this size, engine is bit sluggish and cargo capacity is limited by rear shock towers.

Changing from a CVT to a regular automatic transmission, and from a hybrid to a gasoline engine, are two big disappointments

We don't like the bar that goes across the back window. Not sure why we did not realize it when we test drove the Crosstour. And the hatchback it difficult to open and close. We were disappointed to realize there was no security cover for the trunck/cargo area. It does not get the gas mileage that was stated and we are not sure why. We have basically driven it in town. Other than those issues we love it. It handles well and is very comfortable to ride in and is easy to get in and out of. The radio and a/c is very good. We love the comfortable interior and the quite ride. The Crosstour handles well we used True car and other sites to research the car and had a quick purchase of the car. We are disappointed that it does not have a cargo cover for the trunk. But other than that we are really enjoying our new car.

Poor visibility in rear view mirror. The horizontal strip across the back hatchback blocks you from a clear view.

Great experience! I only wish they had the option to add navigation, that was almost a deal-breaker for me. I love it

This car has far exceeded my expectations. It's well built, fun to drive and has a well-designed cockpit. The only thing I don't like is the driver's side view mirror with the horizontal split to allow greater viewing of potential blind spots. I get the idea, but at night it adds more confusion than benefit.

2014 Honda Crosstour EX/EX-L (6-Cyl) 2WD

Crosstour would benefit from better rear visibility and more expansive storage area in the rear. It also needs an Econ button like the 2013 Accord to improve shift points, etc. Honda needs to work on the audio interface using the touchscreen. It can be annoying to work with.

I bought the vehicle for my wife, but chose it because of the manufacturer, and the overall style. We are both pleased with the vehicle, and it has met our expectations. I love the styling of the Crosstour, and the makers' reputation.
