FIAT 500 Abarth

The 500 Abarth, which first appeared in 2012, is the performance-oriented version of the charming Fiat 500 city car. With a focus on spirited driving, the 500 Abarth features a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine producing 160 horsepower, a sport-tuned suspension, and a distinctive exhaust note that sets it apart from its more subdued siblings. Its exterior styling is also more aggressive, with larger wheels, unique bodywork, and Abarth badging. On the positive side, the 500 Abarth offers peppy acceleration and engaging handling, making it a fun choice for enthusiasts seeking a small, sporty hatchback. However, the Abarth shares some of the drawbacks of the regular 500, such as limited cargo and passenger space due to its compact dimensions. Additionally, its athletic suspension tuning can result in a firm ride, which might not be ideal for those seeking a more comfortable daily driver. Buyers should also note that Fiat discontinued the 500 Abarth in the U.S. after the 2019 model year.

Love the vehicle. Small but is very fun to drive. Our one son has graduated but we still have a 14 year old that lives with us. Only major problem is when the top is all the way down you cant see out rearview mirror. But very fun to drive and a great purchase at this time in our lives.

My wife has an SUV, so I don't need as much hauling utility from my car. It's a fun commuting car. Also, I drive up and over a hill each day, so I think the mileage I get is reasonable considering that.
