Chrysler Voyager

While it may borrow its looks from the Pacifica, the Chrysler Voyager is actually a watered-down version of its better-equipped sibling. But as one of the more budget-friendly minivans on the market, it still makes an excellent choice for cost-conscious families, offering plenty of room for passengers and their things as well as terrific visibility from behind the wheel. On the downside, some owners knock the Voyager for its lack of refinement inside the cabin and gusto under the hood.

Chrysler Voyager Model Lineup

The Chrysler Voyager is a minivan offering room for up to seven passengers. First offered in 2020, it replaced the outgoing Dodge Grand Caravan and is, in essence, a more affordable version of its upscale sibling, the Pacifica. For 2022, the Voyager became a fleet-only offering, meaning it was no longer sold to the general public; these versions are denoted by LXi badging.

The Voyager comes in two trims: the bare-bones L and the more comfort-themed LX. In terms of features, it's rather spartan, though it does offer a few standard conveniences, including a remote keyless entry, a rearview camera, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Some notable options include a blind-spot warning system, rear parking sensors, forward collision mitigation (first offered in 2021), and heated front seats. However, a few desirable items, including adaptive cruise control, a wireless smartphone charger, and a panoramic sunroof, aren’t available on the Voyager.

Since the 2020 model year, the Voyager has been motivated by a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It sends power to the front wheels (only). No hybrid or electric versions of the Voyager have been offered, but Chrysler does sell a plug-in hybrid version of its sibling, the Pacifica.

Great vehicle but if your needs are the same as mine don't settle for a Voyager. Go for a Pacifica.
