Acura Integra

In 2023, Acura dusted off its Integra badge for the first time in two decades and applied it to an all-new premium hatchback. Based on the Honda Civic (as all Integras have been), the new Integra combines a punchy turbo four-cylinder engine with a premium cabin and the utility of a hatchback body style. To signal its sporting intentions, it's even available with a manual transmission. On the downside, buyers must opt for the most expensive trim in order to get the stick shift. That makes the Acura a questionable value compared to the less-expensive Civic Si, which shares the same powertrain and typically costs thousands less.

Acura Integra Model Lineup

The Integra is a premium compact four-door hatchback with room for up to five passengers. It’s the only hatchback in Acura’s lineup and, in terms of size, slots between the compact ILX sedan and the midsize TLX sedan. The Integra shares a platform and some components with the Honda Civic Si, which is built by Acura’s parent company.

Acura makes the Integra in three trims: the well-equipped base version, the sport-themed A-Spec, and the fully loaded A-Spec with Technology. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, a sunroof, faux leather upholstery, heated front seats, a digital instrument panel, and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Standard active safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot warning, and forward collision mitigation. The A-Spec trim offers a sportier appearance, including larger wheels, black exterior trim, a rear spoiler, and contrasting interior stitching. Stepping up to the range-topping A-Spec with Technology adds an adaptive suspension, remote start, parking sensors, microsuede upholstery, and a wireless smartphone charger (among other items).

Motivating the Integra is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It makes 200 horsepower, which is routed to the front wheels via either a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) or a six-speed manual transmission, which is only available on the top-level A-Spec with Technology trim. No hybrid or electric versions have been offered.
