The process started out scary but the staff at Carana are A++. This is my first time buying a car online. I'll never go back to a dealership again.

I've purchased 10+ cars the "traditional" way via dealerships. I wanted a future car (Tesla) and having it purchased this new online/app way was smooth as butter. I enjoyed being able to lock in on a car via their site or app after I found the specifics I wanted. They even locked it for a few extra days so I could do further research and be sure.
I had pre-approval via my Credit Union (who has a direct partnership with Carvana) so it made the financing so quick and easy. I finally took delivery of the vehicle via their unique Vending Machine which definitely made the whole process very cool, and exciting. I never felt pressured, or anything, it was how car shopping should be. You see a car, you like the features and price, and you buy it. No games back and forth and the dreaded "Triangle" you get at other dealers. I would definitely use Carvana again!

Getting the car was very easy! I met the delivery driver at a Walgreen, because the car needed to be charged. I ended up not having an adapter in the car to charge it at Walgreens. So I had to drive a few miles down the road, and plug it in at a supercharger. While waiting for a the car to charge the rear window started to leak, I called Carvana and they said I could just return the car and get my car back that I had traded in at the time of delivery. I told them that I was okay with keeping the car I had, but needed to get the car fixed. They told me to take it straight to a Tesla dealer which I did. The car had to get a diagnostics, before Carvana would approve the fix. So the car ended up sitting at Tesla dealer 5 days out of the 7 day test drive. Luckily tesla gave me a loaner car to drive, while my car was fixed. If they had not Carvana said they would reimburse me the money I spent on a rental. When I got my car back, I notice that the car had a minor rock chip in the windshield behind the rear view mirror. Hopefully that doesn't become a problem in the future. Also I noticed the windshield had some sort of adhesive all around the edge. This took me almost 3 hours to get off the windshield. Carvana luckily paid for all the fixes that needed to be done at tesla, but the payment is what took almost 3 days to get shorted out between Silverrock and tesla. I love the car, and overall experience could have been a lot more stressful. I think that tesla really helped to make this car buying experience a little easier, with the loaner vehicle.

When the car I ordered had a problem identified prior to delivery Carvana helped find a solution. In the whole process I learned something that could be improved. Your 100+ point inspection process should be a little more in-depth and include a person from your delivery team. They are often stuck with a car that had a dead battery or a new dent and then they have to scramble to notify the customer, push out delivery dates and correct issues. If you have that same level of attention prior to positing the car for delivery online, I think the customer experience would be better. When this happened to me, I learned that the car does not get a full inspection until it has been placed under contract in moved into the name of the buyer, as informed by your service department. You all are awesome at handling the problems just ask yourself how do we handle that before it becomes a problem.

I loved how the website gives me the up front rates that i will pay including the fees without harming my credit. after i finally pulled the trigger and decided to purchase a Tesla there was a snag where we couldn't seem to remove my co-buyer who had backed out, but customer service was very professional throughout the process and we got it handled. they made certain that i would still receive my car on time. then even after purchasing the car i had an issue with some marker stains in the back and Carvana covered the expense to have it removed. I'm very happy with the service i received and i believe the rest of my family will now buy cars using this site and process.
