The day of my delivery , about 4 hours before was to arrive, I received a notification stating that my car delivery was pushed back an entire month. From what I gather, the car was damaged when they loading it, or damaged in their care. The only communication I received was a notification. I had to make several calls to gather any information on what was going on. When I asked for an estimated time of repairs, all I got was a shoulder shrug and an extremely vague answer. I had no real information to make a decision to wait or look for another vehicle. At the time, I didn't have a car. After waiting a week, I was advised to look for a different vehicle. For a Carvana's concept, the whole experience with my first car selection was extremely off brand. There is definitely huge room for improvement. Instead of getting an app notification, someone should have looked into it and then called me.
The second vehicle I selected went a lot smoother. They knocked $500 off their list price. This one came with a delivery charge, but they offered to cover it. I haven't received the compensation yet, but I think I should get it soon.
Overall, the people I spoke to were very polite and they were eager to assist. I did enjoy speaking to them. I would suggest getting a car through Carvana to people I know, but I would definitely let them know to cut the cord if there is an issue with the selected car.
