Used MINI with Manual

The process was stressful. My first choice car, I was told didn't charge properly and that I should pick another car. My second choice car was listed online as automatic, however once I got there to pick it up, the car was actually a manual. The representative told me they would take 300 off the down payment if I choice another car. My final pick, was almost a success, but the csr rep told me they could not take money off the down payment. Once I recieved my car (had it delivered) the front tires were bailed and needs an allightment, and then I have to replace the breaks as well. This car is a 2016, I shouldn't have to do all that on a practically new car.

So, I'm looking to buy a fun car for myself. I have a specific make and model so I begin to hunt for it. I visit some local used car places, but selection is slim and sales pitches are plentiful. I look to the web to expand my buying choices in hopes of finding my little car. All the dot coms I could think of, Ebay, Cars, Autotrader etc... Then I searched on Craigslist and found a car close enough to what I was looking for so I investigated further. I read that it is being sold buy Carvana, so I go straight to the Carvana website and start to poke around. Sure enough there is the car I had seen on Craigslist along with several other very awesome choices. I had a field day picking out my new little fun car. Then it hit me, I am buying a car sight unseen over the web. I could just see my grandfather's face telling me I am crazy. Or that the car was someone else' lemon that would become some sort of money pit. Like most, I started to research this Carvan car dealer. I searched the internet for complaints, read several reviews of prior purchases. I even purchased my own VIN check. All looked good so I jumped in.The process was as easy as described on the website. Finance rate was better than any other offers out there. Carvana even beat the CarMax estimate by $500 bucks. The new car was under manufactures warranty which was a big plus! I figured with the 7 day 100 mile test period and no off putting record history on the car I was pretty much covered if i felt the deal was not for me. I couldn't be happier with the car. Like some I did have to wait on my new tags. I elected to surrender an old vanity plate for a new one which added to the turn time. It was no big deal as the temp tag the Carvana associate placed on my new car was much better than a taped piece of paper stuck to the bumper. The temp was an embossed state seal temp tag that adhered to a nice Carvana logo plate. I was not worried in the least that the new tag would not arrive and sure enough, 2 weeks after the second temp tag was delivered my permanent plate did arrive. I now have an awesome car that I definitely could not have found locally. It is quite cool to have a one of a kind car in the neighborhood. I would absolutely do it again. The saddest thing about the process of buying a car on the internet is that it find of ruins it for anything else that gets delivered after.

Overall this was a good experience. I appreciate that everything is done (for the most part) online & via emails. However, they need to improve their final vehicle review process. Mine showed up with only one key fob, a problem (minor) with the temporary license plate, and no car mats. Carvana says they'll take care of all this and pay for it (no reason to believe they won't), but it was still a disappointment and 'caused me some inconvenience as I had to go to a dealership to take care of part of it. All in all, however, the vehicle seems in good shape & as advertised. The delivery was prompt & all the people I've interacted with are respectful and nice.

The only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 is because Carvana was supposed to contact me on day 6 to see if we still wanted to keep the car. I never heard from them. It is no big deal as we were planning to keep the car.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I can not express how incredibly floored I am at incredibly "SMOOTH' process I had with Carvanna. I saw the. Carvanna commercial of dude in kimmona and how dude said... ".it didn't sux" and can I tell you...."IT DOESN'T SUX AND I LOVE IT"!!! I went on tbe Carvanna site Christmas day to try to buy my dream 2014 light blue 2014 mini clubman car, well I could not believe how incredibly smooth and easy it was to .buy my lil dream car! Customer service rocked! When my car was delivered to my home, it was crazy cool! ,Patrick, the Carvanna representative, delivered my car took extra time to ensure that I was happy with my car and took extra time to explain and review the details of my contract abd synch my bluetooth with my phone.carvanna.is superior on customer service and flawless with the process of buying a car. I still can not believe how painless and stressfree it was.to buy a car from Carvanna! This is the way buying a car should be! " It didn't sux" and I will buy again!

The least stressful car purchase I've ever made. No hassle. Minor physical defect occurred in the first 2 weeks of ownership that wasn't covered by warranty (disappointing)

I work for a dealer. I can get an employee discount. That still didn't beat the price at Carvana! And the service......the service was amazing! EVERY SINGLE PERSON I emailed or talked to was absulotuely delightful! It's like you guys actually LIKE what you do! It shows and I really loves this experience. And my MINI too! :)

I bought a Mini Cooper paceman - love my ride, I loved the compare feature of Carvana, made a whole mini garage and decided which one I would love best! Easy to complete financing, paperwork was minimal & I have to say I hate going to used cars dealers- it's a waste of time and there is always extra fees, red tape,?etc... Love that Carvana is not like this!!! Only downside of the entire purchase was that twice my vehicle could not be delivered when requested. I was initially concerned that it could be the quality of my vehicle choice but it really was an error on where the car was located vs. when I had requested. I adore my ride and may not have had a perfect purchase but it still was a much easier less complicated way to buy!! Thanks Carvana!

I bought a 2015 Mini Countryman through Carvana, after about a month searching inventory online and at dealerships. In the end, the Carvana price was the best I could find, and the car I bought was in better condition with more of the features I was looking for than I could find locally. The car was delivered on time (they actually give you a one-hour delivery window), and everyone involved was helpful and followed up well. The car only came with one key, but Carvana covered the cost of new one without question ($300). Overall, very impressed.
