The car I purchased is great, works well and exactly as advertised. The price was good and I'm happy driving it to work every day. Yay for new car!
But the overall process has been very frustrating and I don't feel Carvana has really worked to own their part of the struggle, which is most of it.
First - after waiting for two weeks for my car delivery, Carvana called and said my car would be another 8 days late. My only options, aside from just waiting (and paying another week for my rental) were to either cancel or get another car. Fine, I'll wait. I was told the possibility was part of my agreement and Carvana shrugged, thanks.
Second - once the car was delivered, Carvana charged me THREE times for my car, which is way more than my bank account could handle. I had to go to my bank and deny the charge, which cost me $30. Carvana said they would pay the fee.
Third - now I have to figure out another way to pay them, as they can't change the fee and the bank won't let them charge it again. So now I have to do a bank wire (another fee for me) and it takes me three calls to get all the right info. That's two hours I'll never get back.
Finally - I have to submit my receipts to get my extra fees back, of which I have not seen yet.
Very frustrating process -- when Carvana screwed up badly, it was on me to figure it all out. They took no extra action to make sure I was satisfied and I had to do all the legwork. Ugh.
But still - the car is great.
