Obviously making such a major purchase online is pretty scary at first. But Carvana did a really nice job delivering on their promises. They provide you with lots of information about the car you're interested in buying. And they respond to questions using their chat feature quickly and with helpful answers.
After deciding on a car and completing the purchase a few things didn't go as smoothly. I didn't hear from anyone at Carvana for a full 48 hours after purchasing except for the "do not reply" type of emails. I understood that someone would call me quickly to confirm delivery but that didn't happen. I called them and they assured me everything was on time. The call I placed was answered immediately and accurate and helpful responses were given.
My delivery was late due to a transportation problem but my delivery employee was outstanding. She called me several times during the day to keep me posted on delivery. She was the best part of the experience quite frankly.
Finally, a few post-delivery issues are that the car needs to be emission tested which I have to do. That's a bummer. Carvana is paying for it but I have to sit in line at the inspection point and mail the paperwork in. The car also only came with one key fob. So I have to take the car to the dealership and deal with that. Carvana says the warranty company will pay for it. But I have to deal with that paperwork too. So there are inconveniences that I am being asked to resolve where a brick and mortar store would have likely taken care of that before the purchase.
It's a good car BTW. The detail cleaning was phenomenal. And I got a great deal on the car. Carvana provides tons of background info on the car you're buying and gives you a generous time period to "test drive" the vehicle. Bottom line I would totally recommend to others that they consider Carvana and I would be very comfortable buying from them again.
