After driving the car the first few times, I had to bring it to a repair shop. There was noticeable shaking while braking (at all speeds). The shop assessed that my new purchase needed 4 new rotors and brake pads. Additionally, the repair shop had to deal with Silver Rock insurance on every aspect/approval of work done. The car was in the shop for over two days during my 7 day return window. To say I was frustrated would be an understatement. I guess I assumed an inspection of the vehicle prior to sale would have caught this obvious defect. Otherwise, I would still shop Carvana going forward but would suggest an immediate inspection upon receipt, regardless of initial delivery.Read More4.0 OUT OF 5

But Carvana was a revelation, in that we could buy a used car online the same way we have become used to buying everything else. Choosing a car and getting pre-approved for financing were simple and straightforward, and once we ordered the car everything was transparent, easy, and with the minimum of hassle. Car search was a little wonky: it would display a particular car with 1st search, not with 2nd search but it would be back with the 3rd search (same search parameters). The other minor issue is that time zones seem to be a problem. I requested a 6:30pm drop off time. When I got the email confirmation Carvana said they would drop off at 6:30pm MST. Where I live is on PST. The delivery was not made as Carvana said at 6:30pm MST (it was delivered one hour later).Read More4.0 OUT OF 5
