After driving the car the first few times, I had to bring it to a repair shop. There was noticeable shaking while braking (at all speeds). The shop assessed that my new purchase needed 4 new rotors and brake pads. Additionally, the repair shop had to deal with Silver Rock insurance on every aspect/approval of work done. The car was in the shop for over two days during my 7 day return window. To say I was frustrated would be an understatement. I guess I assumed an inspection of the vehicle prior to sale would have caught this obvious defect. Otherwise, I would still shop Carvana going forward but would suggest an immediate inspection upon receipt, regardless of initial delivery.Read More4.0 OUT OF 5

But Carvana was a revelation, in that we could buy a used car online the same way we have become used to buying everything else. Choosing a car and getting pre-approved for financing were simple and straightforward, and once we ordered the car everything was transparent, easy, and with the minimum of hassle. I had some very specific needs from the new car that I was looking for, and because Carvana has a lot more inventory than any given typical car dealership, I was able to find the exact car that I wanted by keeping my eye on the search for a few weeks. I did a trade in, and got a great value on my old vehicle. The exchange was super easy; the Carvana associate came to my house at the appointment time that I set up with my new car on the truck. he unloaded my new car and let me inspect it while he got the paperwork in order. After he and I finished going through everything, he loaded my trade-in onto the truck and that was that! The whole process took less than an hour. The communication from Carvana was great also, and they followed up on all of the loose ends from the purchase, like sending someone out to my house to install the license plate holder for the front of my car, and making sure that I got a second copy of the key made for me (my car only arrived with one key). I also really appreciated how there weren't any hidden fees; everything was super straightforward and there were no surprises when it came to the bottom line dollar amount that I would be paying. WITHIN IN ONE SECOND I NEW WHAT DIRECTION I WAS HEADING. I IMMEDIATELY STARTED LOOKING FOR MY HARD TO FIND CAR WHICH HAD ALL OPTIONS I DREAMED ABOUT INCLUDING COLOR, YEAR, AND VERY LOW MILEAGE. I AM NOT GREAT WITH TECHNOLOGY BUT IT WAS SO EASY TO DO ALL DOCUMENTS. I DID HAVE A LITTLE DIFFICULTY WITH ONE ITEM I CALLED AND THEY TOOK CARE OF IT IMMEDIATELY. I NOTICED THE NEXT DAY MY CAR HAD OVER 400 VIEWS AND 83 SAVES. I WAS SO HAPPR THAT I WENT ON THE WEBDITE WHEN I DID OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LONG GONE. THE CAR SHOWED UP WHEN EXPECTED .
