First, let me say that buying a car on Carvana was incredibly easy. The whole process is very simple and well explained and getting financing either through Carvana or having the option to enter third-party loan details seemed very straightforward. I was able to get exactly the kind of car I want it in the email and text communications from them were very clear and helpful. At no point was I uncertain about the status of my order or what they needed from me. On the other hand, the delivery process was disappointing. My first vehicle I never got to see because it was damaged in transit by someone who improperly loaded the vehicle onto a two-tier transport, denting the roof by simultaneously lowering the top tier too far and overloading it. The only positive here is that the company and its representatives were very apologetic, communicative, and willing to help me with whatever changes I needed to make, whether I was going to get the car repaired or switch to a new vehicle. The downside is that I could not receive my vehicle when I expected, and even if it was going to be repaired, it seemed I was going to have a difficult time getting physical, written, signed documentation that if something was found to be wrong with the repairs after the seven day return policy expired, that Carvana would agree to fix whatever had been done incorrectly or insufficiently. Once I selected a second car, I was frustrated by the fact that Carvana was not willing to knock $200 off the price of the second vehicle in order to price match the first, especially given that they had damaged that first car. But setting that aside, getting the second vehicle ordered and financing transferred along with my trade-in's value was very simple, which I was grateful for. But again, delivery was a challenge. When the car had been loaded, and I ordered a manual transmission, the emergency brake had been pulled up so high that no one could get it down and it was not possible to unload the car properly. I ended up having to cancel commitments in order to remain where the vehicle was and wait for additional help to drive out to meet us. Everyone was very apologetic, gracious, and professional, but customer Service is not the only important part of the business and the actual preparation of my vehicles that occurred at the facility seems less than competent. I did eventually get my car, and I absolutely love it. It's in great condition as verified by my mechanic, and I love how it drives. The titling was also a bit sticky as I was informed I didn't have properly filled out paperwork, but that was just a small bump in the process. Carvana is clearly still a young company, and there are rough spots in their process, but my experience, on the whole, was very positive, and I would certainly go back to them again.
