Used 2009-2011 Chevrolet Spark EV

I wasn't skeptical of buying a vehicle completely online. My two previous vehicle purchases were long and time-consuming. I was more than happy to give Carvana a chance. But I wasn't flying blind. I had a list of questions I wanted answered before I took possession of my vehicle. And EVERY question was answered. Even when an answer wasn't readily known, they made sure to get an answer for me immediately. I'm already thinking of my car once I pay off the one I just purchased and I'd have no problem at all to use Carvana again. A great experience. I live in North Carolina and wanted to buy a Chevrolet Spark EV (Electric Vehicle) ... which GM SADLY only sells in California, Oregon and Maryland. THANKS to Carvana, I was able to purchase a 2014 Spark EV (2LT) with LESS than 6,000 miles - for $12,000 - which Carvana then knocked $1,000 off of for their Black Friday Event. SUPER HAPPY - THANKS Carvana! :)

Car is in good condition, car buying experience - even better. Good Points 1. 360 degree view of cars 2. No pushy sales 3. All customer service agents are on same page, they do good job in keeping notes from last call. I didn't had to repeat myself to different people. No call escalations or passing on to supervisor tricks. 4. Timely delivery & communication Constructive feedback 1. Need to get better at in-house financing, rates are too high. 2. Big banks like BOA do not work with these guys. 3. Need to get better at traditional ways of paperwork that people understand. Purchase agreements and addendum are hard to explain to layman. Just issue bill of sale and if customer change bank, just issue new one, don't issue addendum. It just makes things confusing for banks

Very fun to drive and cheaper to maintain. Better than any gas car I've owned.

My Chevy Spark EV from viewing on the site to signing papers & scheduling the delivery was all done on an hr lunch break! My vehicle was delivered fast & I was out on the road in less than 20 minute after delivery! This was beyond painless especially for someone on the go!

I had been interested but nervous about using Carvana. All my fears melted away the instant I received the delivery notice. I was able to select a convenient time for my car to be delivered. When my driver arrived she friendly and easy to talk to. She had me test drive it and then reviewed a few details about the car. She did an incredible job making the process stress free. Thank you Carvana for such a hassle free process!

Hard to believe this company can stay in business with everything they do. The whole experience seemed too good to be true. The price of the car was great and it was delivered to my door for free with a 7 day trial. I kept the car after the trial. Everyone was very friendly, nothing extra was pushed and all of the information regarding the car on the web site was accurate. The financing rates are low and they provide you with the history of the car. My only knock regarding the experience is that they sprayed a silicone based detailing spray on the interior plastics and the overspray was very hard to get off the windows and the windows were dirty. I actually don't mind dealing with pushy car salesmen and all of the unnecessary things they try to get you to buy. If you don't like dealing with used car salesmen, this is the way to go.

I could write a novel about everything that went wrong with my experience, however I'm too tired by the process to expound. It took a month instead of a week to get my car, and there was little to no communication with me about what was actually happening. Car was delayed four times, each with last-minute calls to me about the situation (as in, an hour before delivery. Twice I had to call Carvana because no one bothered to update me). Every time I called, the person I spoke with had little or no information. Finally, Carvana gave me a rental car because I had to return my leased vehicle (I had given myself a month to purchase a new vehicle. Ample time, so I thought). Even that turned into a debacle. The rental car company charged me $300, (which is *cross your fingers* being refunded by Carvana) and was about to put in a Missing Vehicle report with local police because Carvana left the rental car sitting at their office for a week and a half after I dropped it off. I was explicitly told by a Carvana representative that they would return the rental car for me. While I ended up with the car I wanted, and the associates I spoke with were kind and sympathetic, I will never use this company again.

When I decided it was finally time to replace my 15-year-old car, I hadn't even heard of Carvana or the car I ended up buying. I was intrigued by EVs and considering getting a new Nissan Leaf, but the dealer experience was terrible when trying to get a straight answer about the out-the-door price. Plus, while the MSRP was in my price range, destination fees, dealer fees, and actually adding a charger added almost $4000 to the price. Teslas and Bolts were way out of my price range, and used Leafs suffered from terrible battery degradation so it didn't seem worth it. Eventually after enough research, I came across the Chevy Spark EV. It was a "compliance car" only available in California, Oregon, and Maryland that isn't being made anymore, but it has very dependable batteries and sells for under $11k. Unfortunately, I live in Florida, so it didn't seem possible to actually get one until I came across Carvana. Carvana made it really easy to shop for this obscure car that only sold 7500 units ever, as I was able to get the color I wanted in great condition with around 15,000 miles. I put my reservation in before the preview was available, and within the same day they already had the virtual tour ready. They were flexible with a pickup day (I decided to use the newly built vending machine in Orlando) and they were always helpful with answering all my questions before picking up the car. When it came time to actually pick up the car, that's when a few problems began, but they ultimately owned up to all of them. The car shipped without a charger, but luckily I had already installed a level 2 charger in my garage so it wasn't a huge deal. It also came with an uncharged battery, which was a bigger deal since I had to drive it to the dealer to get it inspected and then drive it home. They ultimately had to push back my pickup time by an hour or so and I got a little money back for the hassle. They also mailed me a car charger about a week later. At least trading in my old car went without any issues. Throughout the trial week, I noticed that two of the tires were missing valve caps and the windshield wipers were bad, so I was able to buy new ones and get reimbursed. Once the trial week was over, they sent me a code for $20 to spend in the Carvana merch store, so that was a cool surprise. Here's some quick pros/cons: Pros: Really easy to use and pick out cars, great customer service, vending machine is a lot of fun, get to tell people that you bought a car on the internet and picked it up from a vending machine Cons: Hit a few snags on pickup day, pictures in virtual tour could be higher definition to better see some of the more minor cosmetic flaws, sometimes takes a few calls to get issues sorted out properly (they always really try to help but sometimes seem to annotate issues wrong or something) Overall, my car is great and I couldn't have gotten it any other way, so I'd definitely recommend Carvana.
