I bought a 2016 Cadillac CT6. The shopping experience was awesome! The 360 cameras were great. I appreciated that the website points out any scratches and allows you to zoom in to see the extent of the scratches. The delivery was flawless and on time. Very pleasant experience. HOWEVER, the car was not in the same condition as advertised. The website shows one tiny scratch on the drivers door (barely noticeable in person), but when they dropped off the car there were 5 fairly long scratches elsewhere on the car. These were WAY more noticeable than the tiny one they pointed out on their website. In addition, the rear passenger wheel was damaged from rubbing against a curb (a good 8" heavy scratch).
The website advertised the car with 14,4k miles, but when it was delivered, it had 15,5k miles. Where did these extra 1,000+ miles come from. Did an employee use the car for a weekend road trip? I pointed all this out to the nice lady who dropped the car off and she took photos as well. Carvana ended up writing me a small check for the additional scratches and additional mileage, but it's only a fraction of what it would cost if I wanted to repair any of this. It was more of a peace offering gesture than anything else. I would even be able to fix one scratch for what they offered.
I love the car, and it has every feature that I was looking for in this car, so I'm keeping it. All-in-all, this is probably the best and easiest experience I ever had buying a car. I'm still disappointed that they car had the additional scratches and miles, but they do offer a 7-day return policy, so you really don't have anything to lose. Again, I kept the car because it's hard to find this model with everything I want.
If you're thinking of buying a car from them, I would recommend giving them a try. Their customer service is really great and it honestly couldn't be any easier. Just expect that the car they deliver you might not be in as good of condition as advertised.
