I received my car last week, via home delivery. This has definitely been the easiest and best car buying experience I have ever had. Customer service has been wonderful, and exceptionally friendly. The car is in good shape and drives great. Carvana and the tow driver were in frequent contact while the car was being shipped up to new york so I would be aware of the drop-off time. I would use this service again in a heartbeat, as I dread the whole dealership process, the lies, the negotiating, etc. What a great website and awesome idea. Overall an amazing purchasing experience!
Now, I couldn't give this process 5 stars for a few reasons, and I'm giving them here as constructive criticism to improve this service. Most of my issues are probably due to the fact that the car was shipped all the way to my home in NY, but anyway - the temporary Georgia plates arrived via fedex, literally, ten minutes before the car. While I was out on my front porch waiting for the carvana driver, the fedex truck pulled up. If the timing had been slightly off, I would've had a car with no registration and no plates. If you live in NY, this is a car that will be towed off the street. Disaster was averted as the plates did arrive (slightly) before the vehicle. The vehicle was very dusty when it arrived, which I presume was from the trip up....but this is not how you want to take your first look at your new car. I think I could've written my name in the dust. And one final surprise - no gas card or other such cute gift - but a melted blue crayon in the pocket area of the back left door...which I discovered later that day when my daughter stuck her finger in it. Granted, I can see how they missed this as it's an inconspicuous area, but still... I guess my overall suggestion to the company would be to step up the cleaning service a bit to really wow people when they receive their new car. But thank you for a great purchasing experience and nice car!
