Unfortunately, I had problem after problem with my whole Carvana experience. It started with my first purchase, which was cancelled as the car I wanted to purchase was put back on the website in error. I should have just stopped there, as my problems just escalated. I put in an order for a car with a trade-in, and at first, it went quite smoothly. I then decided on day 3 that I wanted to return the car and get my trade-in back. On the day we scheduled the swap to occur, my driver called to say they were on my way, but they didn't have my trade-in vehicle. We rescheduled for another day. I got a text from my driver that day, as I was at work and couldn't answer a phone call, and I asked if they had my trade-in. They said they did not. I got on the phone as soon as I could; meanwhile, the driver arrives at my house without my trade-in. Apparently my trade-in was never noted in the system to be returned to me. I reschedule again and finally get my trade-in back, but they don't have the title. I assumed it was coming in the mail, as my husband who purchased through Carvana got his title back in the mail. I wait about 2 weeks- no title. I call again- my title is with their third party vendor to get retitled into Carvana's name as- guess what!- it never got put in the system to get returned along with my trade-in vehicle. They say they'll mail it to me as soon as they get it back. I wait another week and call again, as I still don't have my title. They say it's on its way and they'll overnight it to me as soon as it gets in. A few days later, there's a car I want to purchase (why I was still looking on Carvana, I don't know) and I call to ask about the process as I still don't have my title back. Carvana informs me they'll hold onto my trade-in title once they get it back from the third party and to continue with my purchase. Everything goes smoothly with the purchase, I get the new vehicle, delivery driver seems well informed on my weird situation, everything seems to be going fine. I decide to keep this vehicle, great! Well, just after my 7 day return period ends, this car throws a few alerts/lights on the dash regarding a safety feature and a problem with the passenger airbag. I look for a preferred mechanic to get it fixed through the 100 day warranty and there's only 1 in my area and has VERY mediocre reviews. I'm taking it to the dealership so I know it gets done right, but it's going to cost me another $50 because the dealer isn't a preferred vendor. Great. We'll see how this goes. All this being said- my husband's experience was totally fine, besides waiting forever to get his new vehicle because Carvana didn't have the title for it.
TL;DR: 1 star for not having to deal with a harassing sales person, 1 star for an alright trade-in value on my car, but not much else beyond that.
