Overall the process was pretty simple. I think there can be improvements specifically where the insurance and financing processes are applicable.
Understandably proof of insurance is required; however it isn't part of the initial 'required' information. Since I wasn't notified through the process of selecting my vehicle, I missed the initial delivery date b/c it wasn't supplied in time. Secondly, the process to require insurance on the specific vehicle doesn't make a whole lot of sense. At a physical dealership, proof of auto insurance in general is enough to complete purchase of a vehicle; so the extra step required to contact my insurance company and update my policy specific to the vehicle selected (especially not knowing if I'd keep it past the 7 day period) is cumbersome and frustrating.
Additionally, the financing aspect provides limited functionality. It would be nice to have separate inputs; I.E. Enter 2 / 3 (Amount down, length of payments and/or APR). However, the 'slide bar' system gets frustrating, and it seemed to change input (specifically amount I wanted to put down) as I compared APR and loan length.
