From the very first minute on the Carvana web site, all the way to the car to having my car delivered to my house on 04/25/2022, the HUMAN Employees at Carvana cannot be matched by any car dealership. They are polite, courteous, knowledgeable, reliable, responsible, and all have a great attitude and sense of humor. All of my interaction with Carvana HUMANS has been Top Notch...however, they have a "human interactive computer" named "Sebastian." I cannot type here the new name I have now given it, since I THOUGHT IT WAS A CARVANA Human being that sent me a detailed Text yesterday. I replied to the text with a simple question that got ignored. Instead, the next text to me said "my order has been approved, so I should be all set." Problem?...I DON'T HAVE ANY ORDER. Next text said get proof of insurance & copy of my Driver License to Carvana...BUT I DID THAT BEFORE THE CAR WAS DELIVERED & told them that. Next text wanted me to upload the proof & license via a link they sent, but the link didn't work, & said to also BRING IT TO MY APPOINTMENT...the problem is they were ignoring all of my questions including when I told them I HAVE NO APPOINTMENT!....What appointment? They sent me another link that they said to "scroll down to the bottom of the Order Confirmation" page saying it would provide me with the Date & Time of my appointment. THIS LINK ALSO DID NOT WORK. I was so frustrated since they were answering NONE of my questions, so I sent my phone number asking them to call me FORTHWITH. The next text said "Our Advocates are off duty right now, but can give me a buzz between 0800-1000 EDT tomorrow. I then texted to please call me tomorrow "between 0800-0815 Pacific Daylight Time which would be 1100-1115 EDT....and the Final Text said "Our Advocates are still off duty at that time!" At this point (ready to strangle someone) I went into my contacts and found the number I've been using all along to call Carvana, and lo and behold, a HUMAN BEING named Shawn (or Shaun, or Sean etc.) answered the phone. Long story short, for the approx. 1/2 hour I was on the phone with him, he completely restored all of my faith in doing business with Carvana. He resolved EVERYTHING, made me laugh with his humor, and removed all of my stress and grief from the back/forth texting. This is why I tell everyone about Carvana & give it a 5-Star rating...BUT!....ONLY FOR THE HUMANS!!!
Moral of the story: When doing business via Text with Carvana, always find out if it's a real person (get their First name), and if it is not, IGNORE THE TEXT!
