Used Volkswagen GTI

I bought my first "grown up" car - less than 13 years old and more than $1500 - with Carvana. It was such a good experience that it's hard to pick the best parts, but: 1. Being able to inspect the car online. The 2011 VW GTI I saw online was basically identical to the one that got delivered to my house, right down to the tiny paint chip on the hood. 2. Not having to deal with a salesman. I browsed cars. I tweaked my financing options. I waffled. I committed. I test drove my car. All without any pressure or rush. I was so nervous about making such a big purchase that I'm pretty sure if I'd had to go through a dealership, I wouldn't have bought a car at all. 3. Everyone I talked to at Carvana was so friendly. And not just "I want to sell you something" friendly. I bought my car last week, and was just a little disappointed that the t-shirt that came in my gift bag was too big for me. They called me back today to tell me a smaller t-shirt was in the mail. Wow. And, of course, I love my car. I look forward to going to work in the morning just for the chance to drive it.

The whole process was so easy, I cannot really believe it. I found and purchased my GTI in about an hour. No price haggling (and the price beat KBB and local dealer prices by over $1000). No sales people. No trying to sell me upgrades, or rust proofing, or floor mats, or anything at all. They also gave me a better trade-in amount on my old car than anyone else was willing to give me. So big win all around. When Jeffy showed up (a little late, but that's OK, he was coming from pretty far away, and he called to let me know he was running behind), the entire process of getting my "new" car and giving them my "old" car took about 45 minutes. That includes test drives of both cars, and signing all the paperwork. Amazing. I sincerely hope to be able to buy every car like this forever.

The car was not properly inspected before being sold to me. At first, I was given the excuse that they found a crack in the door panel where the key goes in while loading the car onto the truck, which delayed the initial delivery time. However, upon receiving the car I noticed that there is not even a place for the key to go in the drivers door. I don't even know what was going on that cause the delay but covering it up does not site well with me. Besides having a rude phone operator for at the delivery service, they did not show up at the originally estimated time. The The car also had several major issues upon OK, now I'm getting really frustrated with this form because it keeps auto-formatting my review. Good luck getting your problems fixed, I'm done dealing with this!
