- John H.JUN 9, 20172014 Honda AccordAustin, TXI've always been a Honda guy, and after deciding to move on from my old Honda Pilot I started looking for the right Accord to fit my expectations. I found what I wanted and went to the Honda dealer that I bought my previous to cars from. They didn't have exactly what I wanted but they had something close... for only a few thousand more. We entered a negotiation phase, which surprised me since I had never had to do this at this particular dealer before. I eventually walked away. They gave me a write-up for a possible lease deal, and after doing the math myself I realized it was downright exploitative. I was done with them after this. I looked around at other dealers within a three hour drive but was worried about getting the same run-around at each of them. I was also worried about finding out that their inventory had changed after I drove all the way there and the car I wanted to see was gone. You can probably guess how this story ends. I looked online, found Carvana, I liked what I saw. The pictures of the actual car are excellent. They even point out the scratches for you. The car I looked at and picked online was the exact car that they delivered to me. While it would be nice to negotiate the price lower, the listed price is fair. the new car was spotless when I picked in up. The Carvana rep was awesome (Carvana, you should give James in Austin a bonus). He competently evaluated my trade-in, and we processed the paperwork as efficiently as possible. The only drawbacks I had were that 1. the coin-slot in the giant vending machine was broken so I didn't get the full novelty experience, and 2. there was no owners manual for my car (not uncommon when buying a used car).Read More5.0 OUT OF 5

I did not know what to expect and really did not have the highest expectations but I was happy surprised with the service. When Rebecca dropped off the car she pointed out a scratch which happened during transit and noted as an item to fix at Carvana's expense. Then I asked for an extra key and the car was lacking a manual.... she noted both and they are delivering. A company that keeps its promises will always have me as a customer. One other interesting note.... just to check the prices on Honda Accords I went to a local dealer and found a car exactly like the one I bought (exact color and mileage). I asked for the price and it was close to $2000 dollars more than Carvana. I quoted him the Carvana price and his response was priceless..."you should buy the car." I did......Read More4.8 OUT OF 5

Carvanas financing beat my banks rates, and I love that I have 7 days to make sure I love my car. I mean it when I say I will never buy another car from a dealership ever again. Bryan, my delivery guy, delivered my Mazda 3 exactly when he said he would, to the minute. I picked up my car on my lunch break, and was back on the road in my new car in less than 15 minutes! Bryan thought my Mazda mats were a little dirty so he replaced them for me. My car was delivered spotless, and with a manual in the dash. I cannot reccommend Carvana enough. Everything was smooth ,and I was very satisfied with my purchase. When the car arrived I was not a very happy camper. First of all, the delivery driver arrived later than our scheduled time. I glanced outside and noticed the car was very dirty and hadn't been detailed. I went outside to the Carvana rep and she did immediately offer me a gift card to pay for the detail. I accepted and tried not to be upset. Once I opened the driver seat door I quickly noticed horrible stains on the seats . I did not get to test drive the car, due to the Carvana rep acting as if she was in a rush. Once I signed some paperwork, I said my goodbyes to the rep. I hopped in the car and saw my gas tank was nearly on empty. I That was another disappointment. I was feeling like a invalued customer at that point. I opened the glove box and realized there wasn't a owners manual. There are also a few other things that displeased me. Caravana's website states that they spend $250 detailing your car. I was given a $100 gift card from them,which didnt cover the price.I ended up contacting Carvana to let them know everything and they said they would send me a manual and an additional gift card to cover the detail. Well I only received $75 more dollars toward the detail. That means, technically ,Carvana owes me another $75 because that was their advertised promise, and after checking local prices , $250 is exactly how much a full detail costs, especially with the way my seats were stained. Im wasting time and money, wheni have to handle these types of issues.Carvana should stand behind everything that is listed on their website! That's called false advertising. I feel like my experience was tarnished and I expected more. The associates for Carvana seemed like they wanted to fix the issues, but they still fell short. If I wasn't so tired of car searching and if this car wasn't the one I really wanted, I would have told Carvana to take it back the moment I seen it pull up in front of my house dirty . - Ilja M.JAN 22, 20142012 Mazda Mazda6Alpharetta, GAI bought a 2012 Mazda 6 from Carvana last week and my experience was exceptional with just a few minor hiccups. - I have started the process at the bar on my cell phone and, although the mobile version of the site still lacks a few features, such as full search filters and defects highlight in the 360 views, I was able to narrow down on the car I was looking for - I've got as far in the purchasing process on my phone as taking a photo of my driver's license and uploading it to Carvana, this gave me another 24 hours to complete the transaction at home next day and discuss it with the family - Next day I have shown my car and corresponding truecar/edmunds prices to my family, we all really liked the fact that we are getting a 1.5-year model with everything we were looking for at an affordable price and can spare 3-4-hour pre-owned car price negotiation at a traditional dealer - I also really liked all the transparency with the pricing and the fact, that Carvana only got 3 simple lines into the contract - price, tax and $88 registration fee - I did not have any trade-in, so can't comment on this - Financing option with Carvana was a breeze, I was able to find the right deal for me while still on my phone during the first phase of purchase - So, I was ready to check the car out, but had to drive to New Orleans (from Atlanta) for 3 days for a Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds concert and chose the car to be delivered to my home a few days later - No questioned asked, no pushy salesmen on my back to try to close the sale before my trip - truly appreciated! - A little detour, I was looking for an affordable sedan about 2-4 years old, under 15k, with decent looks, nice drive and Bluetooth hands-free and audio - Saturday, about 1 hour before the delivery time, I get a call from carvana that they are about to deliver the car in 40 minutes - great accuracy, considering all Atlanta traffic :) - Get the car, inspect it, go for a drive, like it, but there are some strange DSC lights, that remain on the dash, made me really worried - I'm saying, that I love the car and drive, but can't accept it with the dash lights making a Christmas tree on me - The guy is really trying to help and turns the car off and on and it looks like the dash is happy now, may be the car didn't quite liked to be strapped at the wrong time? - I'm deciding to give it a 7-day proper test, at this point - First things first, delete old Bluetooth pairings and connect my Nexus 4; Took me 2 attempts to make it work w/o reading the manual - really good in my book - OK, my phone can have hands-free, stream music from Google play, Bitcasa, Pandora and MOG - I can also have navigation running at the same time as Bluetooth music and it'd lower the music volume for me when navigation instructions are there - OK, enough about my car, let's get some of the other important items - My car came with a $10 quarter pack for possible toll booths - When it came to refilling the car, I have found a $25 Visa gift card taped to the gas intake, cool!Read More4.7 OUT OF 5

I accidentally ordered a manual car, and received notice from the deliverer the same day I was expecting the vehicle. They didn't deliver it because I can only drive an automatic. Mind you, the visibility of the transmission information is buried within text and thought it was an automatic. I then ordered an automatic car, which was delivered a day late (without any notice). This car couldn't start on two different occasions during the new purchase 7-day return period. I had to get a jump from Silver Rock and Carvana. I returned the vehicle immediately when they gave me the run around to get it repaired. My last hope was to order a SUV, however, while I was purchasing it online, someone else interfered with my transaction and all of a sudden, the car became unavailable.
