USED FORD F-150 SUPER CAB REVIEWOverview
The Ford F-150 Super Cab is a full-sized pickup truck with plenty of towing capacity to function as a work truck while having a roomy and luxurious interior. The Super Cab layout means that you get an extended cab from the front part of the cabin, but you still only have two doors. The F-150 features both segment-leading payload and towing for most recent model years. The number of trims and configurations means it's easy to get an F-150 to fit your needs.
NOTEWORTHY FEATURES
Functional and Modern Interior
One of the most appealing things about the F-150 Super Cab is its functional and modern interior, which is roomy and full of user-friendly features. Thanks to all the different trims and configurations available, there are many different colors and textures to choose from. The truck also has several cool and useful tech features like a three-prong outlet, Wi-Fi hot spot and Sync 3 infotainment system with smartphone integration.Towing Ability
Not only does the F-150 have plenty of towing power when properly equipped, but it also offers an innovative Pro-Trailer Backup Assist system, which was new for the 2016 model. This convenient system takes some of the stress out of maneuvering and parking a trailer. The truck computer controls steering and braking, while the driver inputs commands through a control knob. A 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitor are other helpful features of the towing-assist system.Performance and Handling
For such a large truck, the F-150 Super Cab has a smooth ride and responsive handling. Even with a loaded bed or while towing, the F-150's suspension delivers a stable and comfortable ride. The ride quality is also helped by the interior, which is spacious with plenty of legroom and headroom for taller passengers.ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
Gas Mileage
Not all F-150 engines offer great fuel economy. For example, the 2017 model with the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine and 2WD gets 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, but that's the best for this model year. If you're towing or hauling anything, these fuel economy numbers are likely to go down. Most people don't buy full-sized pickups for fuel economy, but it's something to keep in mind.Maneuverability
Due to its large size, the F-150 is not the easiest vehicle to maneuver in small spaces or through narrow city streets. Some of the optional driver-assist tech on new F-150s can make parking easier in some cases. However, there's no doubt that the F-150 is a large truck and typically harder to park and maneuver than smaller vehicles.Lots of Options
Having a lot of options to customize your truck can be a good thing. However, different trims, configurations and optional equipment can also raise the price quickly. This truck comes with a lot of different options and configurations that can come with big price tags, but this is standard for most vehicle add-ons.Browse by Popular Makes & Models
